Virginia Farman

Virginia Farman has been working is a choreographer with over 15 years experience of directing live and recorded performance work, formerly a performer for Liz Aggiss and Billy Cowie’s company Divas, she also works as a senior lecturer at the University of Chichester and has travelled internationally as a student and creator of dance productions for stage, site specific setting and film.

She has worked extensively with professional and community performers of all abilities,and ages and is passionate about extending access to participation in high quality art practice among the community.

Farman has been given awards for both her research into contemporary Butoh dance and her short films, and is currently working on a series of flick books with photographer Charlotte Macpherson.
